Beating the Bounds Fundraising Walk 35km & 13km

This family-friendly event, which traces the boundaries of the town, was a staple of the community calendar in the 1980s and is being revived by Verity Shuttleworth in memory of her father who passed away in March this year due to a brain tumour.

The walk holds personal significance for Verity, who first participated in the event at the age of six.

Participants can choose from two route lengths, making the event accessible to all ages and abilities. The walk will feature checkpoints with refreshments.

Call for sponsorship and community support:

Local businesses and community members are invited to support the event through sponsorship and participation.

Sponsorship packages include logo placement on event materials, recognition in promotional activity, and the opportunity to have a presence at the event.

All funds raised will support the event and the six chosen charities, supporting vital services and initiatives within the Macclesfield community.
