Further farms and tractor dealerships have been targeted and the high value GPS systems that sit on top of tractors have been stolen.
| This is organised crime and we would strongly recommend upping your security measures to keep your property safe. If possible, store vehicles & property in a secured building or inside a caged area. Mark the property with farm name & postcode, use a UV pen, engraving, stamping, tagging or forensic marking. Install CCTV looking directly at your Tractors overnight. Buy a cage for your GPS tracker, it will take you 30 seconds in the morning and evening to take it on and off and can stop them from being stolen. If possible take the GPS system off at the end of the day and keep them locked away. If you see anything suspicious please contact 101 or if a crime is in progress 999 |
