All Hallows Students Celebrate Outstanding Results and Exciting Next Steps

This year's cohort of students at All Hallows Catholic College are celebrating a fantastic set of A Level and BTEC results, with many progressing to prestigious universities across the country, as well as securing places on highly competitive professional and vocational pathways.

Principal Tim Beesley said:

“We are delighted to see our students rewarded for the hard work, commitment and resilience they have shown over the past two years. Whether progressing to university, apprenticeships or employment, each student has achieved something to be proud of. We congratulate them on their success and wish them every happiness and fulfilment as they begin the next chapter of their lives.”

Among the highest achievers was Michael Sleigh, who gained two A* grades in Maths and Further Maths, alongside two A grades in Computer Science and Physics. He will go on to study Mechatronic and Robotic Engineering at the University of Birmingham. Elizabeth Hartley also achieved exceptional results, securing an A* in Maths and three A grades in Chemistry, Physics and Further Maths, and will study Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Sheffield.

Other high-achieving students include Biatrics Soloman, Nicola Fijalkowska, Eden So, George Barr, Freddie Thompson and Blaire Villareal.

This year's highest value-added performers were Eden So, Nicola Fijalkowska and Jack Ryan, reflecting the exceptional progress they made during their studies.

Students have secured places at a wide range of leading universities and professional pathways. Eden So and Nicola Fijalkowska will both attend the University of Manchester, studying Mechanical Engineering and Spanish and Law respectively. Freddie Thompson has secured a soccer scholarship at Ashland University in Ohio, United States, while Biatrics Soloman will begin a Medicine and Surgery degree at Lancaster University.

Meanwhile, Blaire Villareal and George Barr have both secured places at the University of Leeds, where they will study Computer Science (High-Performance Graphics and Games Engineering) with Industrial Experience and Economics respectively. Jack Ryan is also heading to Leeds to read History.

Reflecting on his time at All Hallows, Head Student Luke Atkinson said:

“My time at All Hallows has been incredibly rewarding, and I am so grateful for the support, encouragement and opportunities I have received along the way. The teachers have always believed in us and helped us to achieve our best. I will leave with many happy memories and friendships that will stay with me for years to come.”

David Howells, Head of Sixth Form, added:

“This year group has approached their studies with determination, maturity and a real sense of purpose. We are delighted to see them rewarded with such positive outcomes and exciting destinations. They have played a full part in the life of the Sixth Form and leave with our thanks, congratulations and very best wishes for the future.”

Chair of Governors, Clair Watson, said:

“I would like to congratulate all of our students on their achievements and the dedication that has brought them to this point. We are proud of everything they have accomplished and delighted to see them moving on to such exciting opportunities. I would also like to thank our staff and families for the encouragement, support and guidance they have provided throughout the students’ journey.”

As with previous years, All Hallows joins other Cheshire East schools in focusing on celebrating the achievements, destinations and individual successes of its students, rather than publishing comparative school performance data.
