Detectives are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a burglary in Northwich.
Shortly after 10pm on Wednesday 10th June, police were called to reports that two unknown men had forced entry into an address on Solvay Road via a rear door.
Once inside the pair stole a large quantity of cash before fleeing the scene on foot.
The suspects are both described as white men, aged between 25 - 35 years old. One of the men was wearing a bright blue tracksuit, possibly a Montirex.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone with any information which may aid the investigation.
Detective Constable Lara Hill, of Northwich Proactive CID, said:
“Our investigation is currently in the early stages, and we are committed to doing all we can to identify the people responsible.
“As part of our enquires, we’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the Solvay Road, Park Road or Winnington Rec area between 9pm and 10.30pm on Wednesday night and believes they may have witnessed anything suspicious.
“The same goes for anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage from the local area which may aid the investigation.
“I’d urge anyone with any information, no matter how small, to contact the team here in Northwich on 101 quoting IML-2347926.”
