Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage after several cars were damaged in Winnington near to the local Infirmary.
Over recent weeks police have received a number of reports of cars being damaged whilst parked on Winnington Lane, Oakleigh Rise and Bowling Green Court.
Enquiries in relation to the incidents are ongoing and officers are urging anyone with any information or video footage to come forward.
Police Constable Kev Anderson, of Winnington and Castle Neighbourhood Policing Team, said:
“We understand the frustration of residents at the current parking situation near the infirmary, however anyone deciding to go out and deliberately damage a vehicle for parking in a certain spot is not acceptable.
“As a Beat Team, we will be providing hi-visibility patrols in the local area to provide reassurance and I would ask anyone with any information in relation to the damage, no matter how small, to please get in touch.”
Anyone with any information or video footage is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML-2110143 or visit:
