Appeal for information following fatal collision in Warmingham

Officers are appealing for more information following a fatal collision in Warmingham.

Just before 11.10am on Wednesday 12 August police were called to School Lane following reports of a collision involving a white Ford transit van and a red Fiat 500.

The driver of the Ford transit van, a 50-year-old man from Middlewich, died at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the Fiat 500 was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Officers are now appealing to trace the drivers of a white flatbed van and a red polo that travelled through the location prior to the collision.

Police are also keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have any dashcam footage of the vehicle before the incident to come forward.
