Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a serious collision in Sandbach.
At 6.24am on Wednesday 25th February, police were called to a collision on Middlewich Road in Sandbach.
Officers attended and found there had been a collision between a white Mercedes A200 and a black motorcycle near to the junction of Moorland Road.
The rider of the bike, a 40-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital; his condition is currently described as critical.
The driver of the car was uninjured, and no arrests have been made.
Detective Sergeant Russell Sime, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said:
“This was a serious collision and were committed to doing all we can to establish exactly what took place.
“As part of our investigation we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any video footage".
