Officers investigating several burglaries of sheds and outbuildings in Alsager are appealing for any witnesses or those with footage to contact them.
On Tuesday 30 January, police received three reports of burglaries at addresses in the Alsager area.
At 9.12am, a resident reported their garage at an address on Talke Road had been broken into overnight. Two diagnostic tablets and several screwdrivers were stolen.
At 1.40pm, another caller reported their garage on Sycamore Avenue had been broken into at some time during the night. Power tools and drill bits were stolen.
At 2pm, a further caller reported their shed at an address on Lime Grove had been broken into overnight. Nothing had been stolen.
Enquiries in relation to these offences are ongoing, and officers are now urging anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious to get in touch.
Sergeant Laura Williams said:
“Our investigation into these incidents is ongoing and we are urging anyone with any information to contact us.
“We believe the incidents took place overnight on Monday 29 January into the early hours of Tuesday 30 January, and we are asking anyone with CCTV or video doorbells in the area to check their footage.
“The same goes for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area which they believe may aid our enquiries."
