Officers from Cheshire Police are appealing for information from the public following a fatal collision in Northwich.
The collision, which involved a white Hyundai IX20 and a mobility scooter, occurred at approximately 6.35pm on Friday 29 December on Chester Way.
The driver of the mobility scooter, a 38-year-old man from Liverpool, sadly died at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and they are currently being supported by specialist officers.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 53-year-old man from the Northwich area, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He has since been released under investigation.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who believes they have any dashcam footage of the incident.
