Officers investigating reports of an assault in Alsager are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
At around 6.10pm on Friday 19th December, police were called to reports that a 12-year-old boy had been threatened by a man on Lawton Road in Alsager.
Officers attended and arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with the incident. He has since been released on bail.
As part of ongoing enquiries, officers are appealing for any potential witnesses to contact them.
PC Harry Beswick said:
“Our investigation into this incident is ongoing and we are now appealing for any witnesses to get in touch with us.
“The same goes for anyone who may have any CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident.”
