Officers investigating reports of a burglary in Macclesfield are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to come forward.
On Friday 4 October, police were called to reports of a burglary at an address in Chester Road. The incident is believed to have occurred at some time between 11am and 2pm that day.
The caller reported a window had been smashed and access had been gained to the property. A quantity of high value jewellery was stolen.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened to come forward.
PC Bramwell said:
“This incident happened when people would have been out and about during the day, so we are looking to speak to any potential witnesses as part of our ongoing investigation.
“We would also like anyone who may have any further information about this incident or has any relevant footage to aid our enquiries to get in touch."
