Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a fatal collision in Sandbach.
At 10.05am on Thursday 13 November, police were called to reports of a collision on Crewe Road, Sandbach.
The collision involved two vehicles, a black Lamborghini and a Red Vauxhall Viva.
The driver of the Vauxhall, a man in his 80s, suffered serious injuries. He was sadly pronounced deceased by paramedics at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers at this time.
Investigation work is currently underway to establish the exact circumstances. No arrests have been made.
Sergeant Russell Sime said:
“We are currently conducting an investigation into the full circumstances of this sad incident and as part of our enquiries, we would like to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.
“The same goes for anyone with any relevant dashcam or CCTV footage of what happened.
“Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the man who has sadly died.”
