H21 Safety is the first recipient of a new award from East Cheshire Chamber for Progress towards Carbon Neutrality, the award was sponsored by the Congleton Partnership, one of our aims of the Partnership is to raise awareness of the enormous challenge facing us all - Climate change.
Peter Aston, chair of Congleton Partnership commented:
“Although measuring your carbon footprint is largely a numerical exercise, we were looking for companies that were going way beyond measuring and reducing their own carbon footprint. H21 were doing exactly that. Inspiring, challenging and supporting many of their clients and partners to do the right thing as well as working on their own business performance on the road to carbon neutrality. With that in mind, we were delighted to award The Partnership Cup to H21 Safety.”
H21 Safety is a Health and Safety consultancy and training provider based in Congleton, director Ben Hislop is delighted to have won the award:
“Receiving this award is a great honour. This award particularly recognises our work on environmental issues and the efforts that we have put in.
We will maintain the same level of diligence in our work in the forthcoming years. Thank you once again to Jackie Randles, Peter Aston, Peter Bowers, Dr Barry Speed for recognising our efforts.”
In 2019, a YouGov study of over 9000 consumers found that they were 67% more likely to choose a product or service from a business that is taking action on climate change and the environment. It pays for small businesses to take action on Climate change, we hope H21 Safety inspires more small businesses to take up the challenge!
The Congleton Partnership is a community based, volunteer organisation, which draws on and utilises the skills and expertise of local residents and organisations in Congleton.
