CARFEST RETURNS TO BOLESWORTH ESTATE WITH SEVEN MAGICAL FESTIVALS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

CarFest, the brainchild of radio presenter Chris Evans, today announced its planned return to Bolesworth Estate from 22nd – 24th July 2022, for a fabulous weekend packed with great family entertainment. Evans shared the news that tickets would go on sale on Thursday 18th November at 8am.

2022 sees CarFest mark its 11^th year, with an exciting new vision and plans to take visitors on an incredible journey through seven magical festivals within one big festival!

CarFest will be getting bigger and better with more varied experiences, more inspirations, more great talents and even more kindness. The festival will immerse visitors into the worlds of cars, food, wellness, adventure, retro, family fun and stardom, with everyone coming together every evening in the main arena for a night packed with top performances from the latest and greatest hitmakers.

The Main Stage will take visitors on a musical journey through the decades, with a line-up of acts that will reignite some great musical memories whilst celebrating some of the UK’s freshest new talent. Previous main stage artists at CarFest North have included the likes of McFly, Texas, Roger Daltrey and most recently Rag’n’Bone Man… and the organisers are keen to assure visitors that CarFest 2022’s line-up will not disappoint and they have some exciting announcements up their sleeves.

The brainchild of radio presenter Chris Evans, CarFest takes place at Bolesworth Estate and has been described by the thousands of die-hard fans as ‘the UK’s best family festival’ with a mission to bring the true spirit of family to life. The weekend is packed to the brim with activities for every member of the family, underpinned by great music, celebrity chefs, famous faces and as the name suggests, plenty of cars!

Seven exciting new festivals to discover and enjoy… including:

• Cars at CarFest: The Cars at CarFest is where it all began! CarFest will be honouring hero drivers, hero brands and hero cars… from past, present and future.
• StarFest: This year, StarFest is more than just a stage… it’s a brand-new arena, where visitors can meet the stars, walk the red carpet and even experience what it’s like to be in the director’s chair at our TV, Film, Book and Comedy festival!
• WellFest: This festival can help visitors on their journey towards a healthy mind, healthy body and healthy spirit... Plus the Well Being Marketplace gives visitors the opportunity to buy all the fitness products, healthy food, books and other essentials for their journey to a balanced and positive year!
• The Great British Food Fest: This festival is the perfect place for foodies, where visitors can celebrate everything great about British Food… from favourite regional produce, to celebrity chefs and the country’s favourite delicacies.
• RetroFest: Take a walk down memory lane! Step back in time and discover the world from the past, with cars, music, fashion and toys from the good old days.
• KidsFest: All brand new for this year with the Children In Need Stage featuring not just Pudsey and Blush, but a host of CBBC and CBeeBies favourite presenters, characters and shows brought to life throughout the day! Plus, lots of favourite family activities, including arts & crafts workshops, giant games, toys, and inflatables, the ever-popular silent disco and so much more…
• AdventureFest: After a year of staycations, join CarFest on a globe-trotting adventure across the continents and take a chance to discover the great outdoors!
• Plus of course smashing headliners on the Main Stage, from regular favourites to exciting new acts guaranteed to get everyone in the festival mood…

CarFest, was created by Evans in 2012 with the sole purpose of raising funds for UK children’s charities has over the past 10 years successfully raised over £19million for BBC Children in Need, Comic Relief, Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, My Black Dog, Rainbow Trust, Starlight Children’s Foundation and Teenage Cancer Trust and other local charities and hospices.

The current line-up for Main Stage Acts taking part at each venue is available on CarFest social channels and the past week has seen CarFest announce a host of fabulous new acts added to the line-up.

The highly sought-after tickets for CarFest, one of the UK’s most family-friendly festivals will go on sale at 8am on Thursday 18^th November.
