Detectives investigating reports of a suspicious incident in Crewe have released a CCTV image of a man they are looking to speak to.
The incident is reported to have taken place between 2.10am and 3.30am on, Friday 5 January, at a residential flat in the town.
Enquiries in relation to the matter have been ongoing and as part of the investigation detectives have now released a CCTV image of a man they are looking to speak to.
Detective Constable Ian Halliwell, of Crewe CID, said:
“This investigation is in the early stages and we’re doing all we can to establish what took place.
“As part of our enquiries we’re keen to speak to the man in the CCTV image as we believe he may hold vital information.
“I would like to call on the community for help in identifying the man pictured in the CCTV.
"I would also like to appeal directly to the man in the image and urge him to come forward so we can progress the investigation.”
