CNWA 2022 Awards - Make sure that your special people get recognised!

The Cheshire Neighbourhood Watch Association (CNWA) is looking for nominations for their third Neighbourhood Awards.

Is there a Resident, Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator/Member, someone who works in your community, or a volunteer who you know and lives within Cheshire who:

  • goes out of their way to ensure your neighbourhood is safe?
  • has done something amazing to help your neighbourhood?
  • has initiated action(s) in the community to overcome nuisance or criminal activity
  • has been an active coordinator for many years?
  • has stepped down as an effective coordinator after many years?
  • has stepped up to become a coordinator in a challenging environment?

The Cheshire Neighbourhood Watch Association (CNWA) is looking for nominations for our third Neighbourhood Awards. Normally run each autumn, the 2022 awards are being brought forward to coincide with the 40th anniversary of Neighbourhood Watch and winners will be announced at our celebration event in June 2022.

    How do I nominate?

If you know of anyone who has done any of the above, please complete the nomination form by clicking on this link https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/YWQY238 by midday on 24th April 2022 telling us what they have done, and why you think they deserve to win. There are 5 categories of awards, but you can nominate as many people as you like by repeated completion of the nomination form, and you can also nominate the same person for more than one category. You can also nominate past Coordinators for the Lifetime Achievement award.

  • Cheshire Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator of the Year
  • Cheshire New Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator of the Year
  • Cheshire Neighbourly Neighbour of the Year
  • Cheshire Individual for Services to the Public
  • Cheshire Neighbourhood (Home) Watch Lifetime Achievement

    When are the awards announced?

Started as Home Watch in Mollington, Cheshire in 1982, Neighbourhood Watch has since grown to become the largest volunteer network in the UK. The award winners will be decided by representatives of the Cheshire Neighbourhood Watch Association. In this special anniversary year, the awards will be presented as part of an afternoon tea party event at Vale Royal on 18th June 2022 to celebrate 40 years of Neighbourhood Watch.
