The £10m refurbishment of Congleton Leisure Centre will begin next week, with contractors Pulse Design and Build moving onto the site from 14 June.
The area around the complex will be fenced off and the adjoining skate park will be closed during the construction project.
The refurbishment of the centre is expected to take 70 weeks and will include the installation of two new swimming pools, a thermal suite, new gym, new changing facilities, and children’s soft play area.
A formal event will take place, involving the mayor of Cheshire East and the mayor of Congleton to launch the refurbishment works.
