Congleton’s majestic Town Hall is the perfect venue for a wedding or special celebration.
Couples planning on tying the knot can see the Town Hall dressed to impress at a Wedding and Party Fayre organised by Congleton Town Council on Sunday 16 October. Visitors to the open house event running from 11am-2pm will have the opportunity to see the magnificent building in all its splendour and meet local wedding and party suppliers.
Rachel McCarthy, event organiser, Congleton Town Council said: “We have a great line up of trusted suppliers ready to showcase their products and services and share ideas with visitors looking for the wow factor for their big event. For brides and grooms to be, there will be a collection of designer bridal wear on show from renowned local companies Swan Brides, 130 Atelier and Davenports. Friendly and experienced staff will be on hand to help you find your dream dress (or suit) and discuss outfits for your wedding party.”
“If you’re looking to impress your guests, then look no further with companies displaying delectable cup cakes, photo booth hire, selfie stations, hair and make-up demos, beautiful blooms and much more to make your occasion one to remember.”
The town council’s new Commercial Partner ‘Mark’s Events’ will be there on the day to answer any questions about the catering and bar packages available. Whatever the occasion Mark will work within a client’s budget to deliver a first-class menu and service.
The Town Hall is licensed for Civil Wedding Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships. The beautiful building has two versatile rooms available for hire. The Bridestones Suite is perfect for an intimate ceremony for 30-100 guests whilst the glorious Grand Hall with its minstrels’ gallery, high vaulted ceiling and magnificent lighting options will look fantastic with 80 – 180 people at a sit-down wedding breakfast.
The town council events team looks forward to welcoming potential party hosts to the free event. For those unable to attend the fayre, the team will be happy to arrange a viewing.
