A man from Crewe has been charged with several offences following an incident in the town.
Darren Holdcroft, of Gresty Road, was arrested at around 8.25pm on Monday 22nd June.
The 31-year-old has since been charged with assaulting a police officer in the execution of their duty, being drunk and disorderly and using threatening words/behaviour to cause fear.
He has been released on unconditional bail to appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 27th August.
The charges relate to an incident that occurred in the West Street area of Crewe.
