Detectives investigating a fire at a house in Congleton are appealing for information from members of the public.
At some time between 5pm and 6.30pm on Tuesday 15 March a house on Willow Street, adjacent to Buxton Road, was deliberately set alight.
There have been no reports of any injuries as a result of the fire.
As part of the police’s investigation they are appealing for anyone with information, CCTV or dash cam footage to make contact with them.
Detective Constable Tom Towe, of Macclesfield CID, said: “An investigation is underway to establish who is responsible for starting the fire.
“While our enquiries continue I am encouraging anyone in the community who has CCTV or dash cam footage between 5pm and 6.30pm on the day of the fire to please get in touch.
“I also want to appeal to anyone who may have information that could assist with the investigation to contact us.”
