Colleagues from across East Cheshire NHS Trust came together last weekend to participate in a series of fundraising events aimed at supporting their local NHS charity.
From the Community Team taking on a challenging night hike up Snowdon, to the spirited efforts of staff running the Manchester 10K, colleagues pushed their limits and demonstrated their commitment to making a difference for East Cheshire NHS Charity.
Ward 9’s sponsored walk around Carsington Water alongside the Cardiac Rehab sponsored walk also further highlighted the collective effort and spirit of staff in raising funds for local NHS services.
Lily Preston, Fundraising and Events Manager, said:
“Last weekend has been a testament to the incredible spirit and dedication of our staff.
“Their commitment to supporting our local NHS charity through these physical challenges has been truly inspiring and we are immensely proud of their efforts and the positive impact they've made in our community."
East Cheshire NHS Charity’s mission is to make a visible difference as they raise funds for local NHS services at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Knutsford Community Hospital, Congleton War Memorial Hospital and a range of community services.
Every donation helps the charity go further in providing those little extras that make a big impact — from improved facilities to additional resources that go above and beyond standard NHS funding.
