Police investigating the supply of drugs to HMP Risley have arrested five people.
On Wednesday 13 January police conducted five warrants at addresses in Crewe and Alsager as part of an investigation into the supply of drugs to HMP Risley.
Two women aged 19 and 25 were arrested at addresses in Kestrel Drive and Pyrus Avenue in Crewe, while two men aged 26 and 31 were arrested at addresses in Woodside Avenue and Grove Court in Alsager. A third man aged 31 was arrested at an address in Waldrons Lane, Crewe. Four drones were seized during the warrants along with drugs and cash.
All five remain in custody helping police with their enquiries.
