It’s just a couple of weeks until the Knutsfordian photography exhibition is back in Knutsford.
The exhibition was previously organised by the Promote Knutsford Forum back in 2013 and 2014, however it has not been held since. This year, the Town Council have brought the event back in a bid to recognise some of the outstanding individuals and businesses who work hard to make Knutsford a fantastic place.
The exhibition will feature 12 participants, who have been photographed in quirky portraits by local photographer Paul Worpole, who worked on the first two exhibitions. The portraits aim to demonstrate both a professional and personal side of the participants. The portraits have been produced by local business Techno Type, located on King Street in Knutsford.
These will be displayed at a three-day exhibition running from 17th – 19th September at the old Marshalls Auction House building, now known as Egerton Place, on Church Hill, opposite St John’s Church. The building is now owned by GGM Properties who are working on renovating the building into a wedding, leisure and multi-purpose events space for the town, which they envision will be operational early 2023.
Alex Brown, Events Officer at Knutsford Town Council, said: “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring this event back this year. Knutsford is home to so many outstanding businesses, groups and people and it’s great to have a chance to shine a light on some of them. We hope everyone enjoys the exhibition – the portraits are absolutely fantastic and this shouldn’t be missed!”
The exhibition is completely free to attend and will be open from 11am – 4pm 17th – 19th September. You can find out more about the event on the Town Council website, or it’s social media pages on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram or by visiting the Facebook event here:
