After embarking on a series of fundraising and awareness activities to celebrate its 25th year in business local marketing and public relations firm, Calvin Marketing, has doubled its original £250 target for local charity, the East Cheshire Hospice, and has raised £550.
The firm, which is based in Lower Withington, celebrated its 25 year existence by embarking upon a ‘Calvin’s 25 miles for 25 years’ challenge with all seven members of the team completing their 3.6 mile share of travelling 25 miles around the Cheshire countryside in their own unique style.
Diana commented: “The team ran, cycled, walked and one member actually travelled 3.6 miles on horseback to complete our challenge. We’re delighted to have not only smashed our target for East Cheshire Hospice but to have doubled our fundraising thanks to the generosity of our supporters.
“Over the years our team has worked alongside a whole host of Cheshire based clients, varying from vets to architects, home carers to professional swimmers. We love supporting local businesses and are so pleased that we’ve been able to give back to our community by supporting East Cheshire Hospice.”
Kate Bowmar, Corporate Fundraiser at East Cheshire Hospice comments: “We are so grateful to the team at Calvin Marketing for their incredible support over the Christmas period. Whilst this Christmas may look different for everyone, our nurses will still be doing everything they can to ensure that families spend Christmas focusing on nothing more than making precious memories together as a family. It is fundraising like this that allows us to remain a constant source of care and comfort for those in our community, so thank you.”
