Officers investigating an attempted robbery in Congleton have charged a man in relation to the incident.
Paul Cordingley, 37, of Granville Road in Chester, was arrested on Sunday 22nd June.
He has since been charged with attempted robbery and is remanded in custody until a hearing at Chester Crown Court on Monday 21st July.
The charge relates to reports of an attempted robbery of a taxi driver in Buxton Road, Congleton, which was reported at 4.01am on Sunday 22nd June.
