A 34-year-old man from Macclesfield has been charged following a burglary at a former pub in the town.
Christopher Wilkins, of Warwick Road, was arrested in Earlsway at around 1.15am on Tuesday 28 April.
He has since been charged with burglary.
The charge relates to an incident at what was until recently The Weston pub in Earlsway.
Wilkins has been released on unconditional bail and is set to appear at Stockport Magistrates’ Court on Monday 1 June.
