Detectives investigating multiple fraud offences have charged a man.
William King, 44, of Moss Drive, Middlewich was arrested and subsequently charged with five counts of fraud by false representation.
He was remanded into custody to appear at Chester Magistrates' Court on Thursday 10 March, where he was further remanded to appear at Chester Crown Court on 7 April.
The charges relate to cold calling incidents between 27 May 2021 and 2 September 2021.
