Officers investigating a robbery at a betting shop in Crewe have charged a man in relation to the incident.
Benjamin Hargreaves, 35, of Holmes Chapel Road, Holmes Chapel, was arrested on Thursday 18 April in Middlewich Road, Sandbach.
He has since been charged with robbery, criminal damage, and possession of a class B drug.
He appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 20 April.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday 20 May.
The charges relate to reports of a robbery at a betting shop in Market Street, Crewe, at 1.51pm on Thursday 18 April.
