A 46-year-old man has been charged with assault by beating and criminal damage following an investigation by Sandbach Beat Team.
Richard Wharton of no fixed address appeared at Chester Magistrates on 17th January to face the charges and was remanded in custody to next appear at Warrington Combined Court on 22 January.
The charges relate to an incident in Meadow Brown Place in Sandbach on 16th January where a woman was assaulted and a car was damaged.
