Police Officers investigating a sexual assault in Crewe have charged a man.
Taha Derwish, of Nantwich Road in Crewe, was arrested on Wednesday 24th September.
The 25-year-old, who is of Libyan nationality, has since been charged with sexual touching.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Friday 26 September.
Cheshire Constabulary and the Crown Prosecution Service reminds all concerned that criminal proceedings against Derwish are now active and that he has a right to a fair trial.
