Detectives investigating a sexual assault in Crewe have charged a man.
At around 6.40am on Sunday 29th March, police were called to reports that a 19-year-old woman had been sexually assaulted.
Raja Ahbab, of Davison Street, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, was later arrested in connection with the incident.
The 53-year-old, who is a Pakistani national, has since been charged with sexual assault, kidnap, and driving without due care and attention.
Ahbab has been remanded in custody to appear at Chester Magistrates' Court today, Tuesday 31st March.
