Detectives have charged a man from Crewe with a drug offence.
Thomas Conway, of no fixed address, was arrested on the A434 near Sandbach at around 5pm on Thursday 9 September and taken into custody.
The 41-year-old was subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Friday 10 September.
The charge relates to a car stopped by police on the A434 near Sandbach on Thursday 9 September when a quantity of class A drugs were seized.
