Police officers investigating reports of an assault in Nantwich have charged a man.
Richard Garside, of Nantwich, was arrested on 3rd November 2025.
He has since been charged with wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
The 66-year-old is set to appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on 15th July 2026.
The charge relates to an assault on 3 November in Civic Hall Car Park, Beam Street, in which an 86-year-old man suffered a serious head injury.
