Officers investigating the supply of illegal drugs in Macclesfield have charged a man in relation to the offence.
Michael Houghton was arrested on Friday 24th October.
The 30-year-old of Hulme Square, Macclesfield has since been charged with possession with intent to supply class B drugs (cannabis) and being concerned in the fraudulent evasion of a prohibition on the importation of a class B drug.
Houghton appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 25th October where he was remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday 24th November.
The charges relate to an investigation into the supply of cannabis in the Macclesfield area of Cheshire.
