A 26-year-old man has been charged with a class A drug dealing offence after an officer stopped and searched a car in Alderley Edge.
Reece Gayle, of Roxley Road, Hither Green, Lewisham, London, was arrested on the night of Tuesday 13 April.
He has subsequently been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drug cocaine.
Gayle has also been charged with possession of criminal property and possession of class B drug cannabis.
The charges relate to a car being stopped and searched in Heys Lane, Alderley Edge, at around 10pm on Tuesday 13 April.
Gayle appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 15 April.
He was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Thursday 13 May.
