Detectives investigating the murder of a man in Northwich have charged a man in connection with the incident.
Matthew Higgins, 35, of Brook Lane, Northwich, was arrested on Saturday 28 September.
He has since been charged with murder, and assaulting an emergency worker.
Higgins has been remanded in custody to appear at Chester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 1 October.
The charge relates to an incident at an address in Brook Lane, Northwich, on Saturday 28 September.
David Eaton, 37, from Northwich, was found with serious injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
A 41-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on conditional bail.
