Officers from Northwich have charged a man in connection with a series of thefts in the local area.
Tristan Matthews was arrested on Whitchurch Road, Chester, at around 8.30am on Wednesday 4 January 2023.
The 20-year-old, of no fixed abode, had since been charged with two counts of theft from a motor vehicle and three counts of attempted theft from a motor vehicle.
He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Thursday 5 January.
The charges relate to incidents in Northwich and Winsford which took place on 22 December and 1 January 2023.
