A 71-year-old man from Rainford is to go on trial for sexual assault.
Ninian Thomson from Randle Avenue in Rainford appeared at Crewe Magistrates on 9th March to face the charge of sexual assault.
The charge relates to an incident involving a pregnant patient at Moody Street GP in 1990 where he was a doctor at the time. The practice no longer exists.
He also worked in Staffordshire and Scotland as a GP.
He will next appear at Chester Crown Court on 27th May 2027.
