Motherwell Cheshire’s founder, Kate Blakemore said “The Kit Out The Nation collaboration has been a real community effort and we are very proud to support our community. It’s been a great support to local families whilst also recycling sports equipment”.
The campaign was focused on asking for donations of sports kits and equipment from the community and sports groups. We Make Footballers Cheshire and Crewe FC stepped up to the challenge and collected kit and equipment from their club members.
Motherwell Pop-Up’s took place at both Underwood West Academy & Gainsborough Primary School.
In total over 200 football boots were collected as well as 100 footballs, football kits and much more were also collected.
Andy from Crewe FC stated “We were really proud to support the #kitoutthenation campaign in giving out the sports equipment, a big thank you to all who donated”.

Motherwells Community Hub is based in Crewe offering School uniform, Coats and sports equipment as well as period poverty supplies and a baby bank - open to all with no questions asked.
