New Knutsford BID Invests in Major Town Centre Cleansing Programme

Knutsford town centre is set to benefit from a programme of deep street cleansing works from 28th June to 12th July.

This represents a visible investment delivered by Knutsford Business Improvement District (BID).

Delivered by Cheshire Washer Ltd on behalf of Knutsford BID, the works will help refresh and enhance key areas of the town centre, including Canute Place, Princess Street, Tatton Street, Minshull Street and King Street.

The phased programme will begin at Canute Place on 28th – 29th June and conclude on King Street from 7th – 12th July. Works are scheduled overnight between 11:00pm and 4:00am to minimise disruption, although some residential areas may see activity from 7:00pm onwards.

The programme reflects the BID’s commitment to delivering practical improvements that support local businesses, strengthen civic pride and create an attractive, welcoming environment for residents, visitors and customers.

Knutsford BID Manager Gill Taylor said:

This cleansing programme is a positive early example of that investment in action. We really appreciate the patience and support of businesses, residents and visitors while this important work is being carried out.”

Every effort will be made to maintain access and keep disruption to a minimum. Members of the public are advised to take care around work areas and follow any on-site guidance.
