Country pub and boutique hotel Hartford Hall, on School Lane in Hartford, is opening its doors this June and will be open to the public from Saturday 12th June.
Originally a nunnery and former manor house dating back to the 16 th century,the hotel and pub has received an injection of over half a millionpounds for its transformation. To celebrate the opening, a series of soft launches and an exclusive opening party will be rolled out from 2nd June.
Retaining many of the building’s original quirks, including charming oak beams and open fires, Hartford Hall on School Lane will feature a modern bar and dining space, complete with contemporary finishes, textured wall detail, luxurious fabrics, wisteria plant features, cosy nooks and bespoke furniture, as well as an extensive 200 cover garden and covered outdoor terrace. Located on School Lane in Hartford, the newly reimagined venue is set in the Cheshire countryside.
With a focus on fresh, quality food, the seasonal menus will offer a variety of pub classics as well as an assortment of contemporary dishes. Running alongside acclaimed chargrilled steaks and crisp sourdough pizzas, diners can sample a variety of dishes including Spiced roast duck breast with pickled watermelon; Chicken and red pesto rigatoni with Old Winchester mature cheddar; and Roast cod loin with spicy chorizo, king prawns and Padron peppers. From indulgent Sunday Roasts, to meat-free options such as Spiced carrot bhajis and Curried cauliflower burger with a cucumber raita and mango chutney, there is something for everyone.
Coupled with an expertly crafted collection of cask ales, an extensive wine list featuring small producers to big name vineyards and a carefully crafted cocktail menu, it will be the perfect all-day drinking and dining destination for friends, families and visitors to Hartford.
