A council review has taken place of one of the borough’s newest bus services.
The No 312 between Wilmslow and Handforth Dean, operated by D and G Buses, will now be rerouted via the Lacey Green estate. The service was introduced using Section106 funding from local developments to support infrastructure and local services.
It’s hoped this variation to the route will meet with the approval of residents who’ve called for the service to operate through the estate, allowing more journey opportunities.
Passenger use will be monitored for up to two years to assess the popularity of the service and inform a decision on the new route’s long term sustainability.
