Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a shoplifting incident in Knutsford.
At around 6.39pm on Saturday 24th February, an unknown man entered the Booths store on Stanley Road, Knutsford.
The man proceeded to take around £340 worth of alcohol and then left the store without making an attempt for paying for the items.
The same man entered the store for a second time on Monday 4 March and took around £120 worth of alcohol and, again, left without paying.
Officers have now released a CCTV image of the man they would like to speak to in relation to this incident as they believe he may hold vital information.
Police Constable Danny Martin, of Macclesfield Local Policing Unit, said:
"Enquiries are currently ongoing and as part of our investigation we would like to speak to the men pictured in the CCTV image.
“If anyone recognises this man, please contact us on 101, or via cheshire.police.uk/tell-us, quoting 24000228107.
“I would also like to appeal directly to the man pictured to get in touch with us.”
