Police appeal for help in tracing wanted man

Police are appealing to the public for help in finding a man wanted in connection with a serious historic sexual offence.

Tanveer Ahmed, 53, lives in Manchester but has links to Crewe and Pakistan.

He is described as an Asian male, 5'10" in height and of a slim build with short black hair.

Ahmed is known to use a number of different names and ages, including but not limited to:

• Hassan Amjad, aged 45
• Tavir Khara, aged 45
• Hussain Amjad, aged 45
