Police are investigating the death of two goats in Bartington, Northwich.
At some point on 13 September the goats were killed in a field off Warrington Road. The owners discovered them the next morning.
PC Claire Murgatroyd said: “This has obviously been an upsetting experience for the owners who have had the goats, who were mother and daughter, for 10 years. I would appeal to anyone who may know how the animals came to be injured and killed, or have any information that may help, to contact police.”
