Officers are appealing to the public for witnesses and video footage following a burglary at a house in Wilmslow.
At around 6.50am on Friday 29 September, officers responded to reports of a burglary at an address Gravel Lane, Wilmslow,
Officers attended and found that between 10.30pm on Thursday 28 September, and 6.30am of Friday 29 September, unknown persons had forced entry into the property via a rear kitchen window and stolen two sets of car keys.
They also stole a black Audi Q7 that was parked on the driveway. The second set was a spare key to another vehicle which was not at the address at the time.
Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing and, as part of the investigation, officers are appealing to members of the public for any information, CCTV or dashcam footage which may be useful to get in touch.
Police Constable Daniel Barnett, of Macclesfield Local Policing Unit, said:
“We’re currently following a number of lines of enquiry and as part of our investigation we are asking for anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed anything suspicious to get in touch.
“We would also like to ask anyone who lives in the area to review any CCTV, ring doorbell of dashcam footage of the vehicle itself that may have captured the incident or the vehicle itself.
