Police Officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Northwich.
Shortly before 8.52pm on 25th September a black Smart Fordwo Grandstyle was travelling along the A556 from Chester towards Northwich when it was in collision with a blue Toyota Yaris travelling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the Smart car, a 52-year-old woman, was taken to hospital but sadly died.
The family are being supported by specialist officers.
Sgt Russ Sime said:
“I’d urge anyone who witnessed the collision but has not yet spoken to police or anyone with dashcam footage that may help with the investigation to contact police.”
