Police are investigating a serious collision involving a tractor and two cyclists on the A54 in Brereton Heath.
At 7.39pm on Monday 27 April a tractor was in collision with a 53-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man who were cycling along the A54 between Davenport Lane and Mill Lane.
The 19-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries and is in a stable condition. Sadly, the woman died at the scene.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
