Local luxury hotel, Shrigley Hall Hotel and Spa recently celebrated their fundraising partnership with East Cheshire NHS Charity.
The Macclesfield-based business were announced as the charity’s official partner last April and have raised over £3,000 through a variety of challenges and fundraising events.
Activities over the last 12 months have included staff climbing Mount Snowdon, hosting a twilight spa event, Christmas Jumper Day and a hotel bake off with a longest day golf event also hosted in June.
Joe Fleetwood, General Manager at Shrigley Hall said:
“It’s been a real pleasure raising funds for such a worthy cause this year. Lots of fun for the team, but also a treat to involve our guests in the efforts this year as well.
“A happy and healthy NHS is of crucial importance for the wellbeing of the nation, so we couldn’t think of a more deserving cause.”

They raise funds to support Macclesfield District General Hospital, Knutsford Community Hospital, Congleton War Memorial Hospital and a range of community services.
