Find out more about plans for Cheadle’s Market Hall and Square and share your thoughts on its future development.
Staffordshire Moorlands District Council now owns the indoor Market Hall and is developing plans for the building and the outside area.
We want to hear the thoughts of residents, businesses and the community as the plans develop and we’re inviting everyone to come along to an ideas fayre on Saturday 20 June.
Deputy Leader and Cabinet member for Regeneration and Planning, Councillor Darren Price, said:
“We all want to see Cheadle thriving and our plans for the Market Hall and Square are central to our vision for regenerating the town.
“We’ve already had some really positive discussions with residents and businesses and heard some great ideas so thank you to everyone who has shared their views.
“And it’s not too late to get involved – please come and join us at the weekend and tell us what you think of our plans and how you’d like to see this area of the town develop. Let’s work together to deliver something the town can be proud of.”
If you’re interested please meet at The Guildhall at 12pm for an introduction and welcome refreshments.
Tours of the Market Hall will then take place at 12.30pm and 2.30pm and kids’ creative workshops be taking place throughout.
